Indication of HCG 5000IU (Chorionic gonadotropin):

History of HCG 5000IU (Chorionic gonadotropin):
The human placenta produces a polypeptide hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin. Endogenous HCG binds to the ovary’s LHCG receptor and promotes the maintenance of the corpus luteum throughout the early stages of pregnancy. This allows the corpus luteum to secrete progesterone consistently during the first trimester, which is necessary for uterine maintenance. HCG also promotes the production of gonadal steroid hormones in males by boosting the production of androgens by the interstitial cells (Leydig cells) of the testis.
Chorionic gonadotropin is a highly pure, pyrogen-free medicinal product extracted from the urine of pregnant women.
